Metropol FM Arabesk is playing the original Arabesk music from the last 30 years. The origin of Arabesk music comes from Orhan Gencebay. He was mixing turkish music with arabic music elements and the result was turkish arabesk style. Several artists, such as Ferdi Tayfur and Müslüm Gürses have committed their careers to arabesk music. Metropol FM Arabesk plays the best out of 30 years of arabesk music.
