eMagic Revealed: Rope Change

The Effect
=======

The magician shows three different lengths of rope that may be examined by the audience.

The magician holds each rope in his hand and then brings the bottom ends up so that all six ends are showing above his hand.

The bottom three ends are pulled, and the three different-length ropes turn into three ropes of equal length.

The magician then returns the ropes to their original length and they may once again be examined.

This trick is especially good for beginners, but the effect is very powerful and can be used by more experienced magicians.
