Teacher Biographies:

Gilda Ganezer is a culturally Deaf professor and co-creator, singer, songwriter, director/producer, dancer and sign model for a series of ASL DVDs at Everyday ASL Productions in New York. With 30 years of ASL and interpreter training/teaching experience and running an American Sign Language educational company, Ms. Ganezer has trained teachers and ASL researchers the fundamentals of the language. She has also developed and utilized ASL & idioms curriculum for colleges and universities. Ms. Ganezer is a master trainer on the methods of teaching ASL/English idioms and phrases with signing accuracies and precision (i.e. exhibiting ‘accents’ while expressing). For a number of years, Ms. Ganezer has also taught at accredited ASL courses at Long Island University at C.W. Post. Gilda is a co-founder of Everyday ASL Productions, Ltd.

Avery Posner is a Certified Deaf Interpreter - Provisional (CDI-P) and worked for the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) as a consultant and is certified in Sign Communication Proficiency Interview (SCPI) rater training program offered by Gallaudet University since 1995. He is a Deaf educator / curriculum developer from an all-Deaf family who is also a co-creator, director, producer, scriptwriter and author of several ASL / Interpreter training books and DVDs for Everyday ASL Productions which carries products now seen and sold in over 70 countries today. Mr. Posner has over 20 years of experience in ASL and Interpreter Training Program curriculum and trainings for educational interpreters throughout universities, public school systems, hospitals and businesses.
