Description

What do you think is the best way to teach math to children?
1) Make sure they understand the concept.
2) Start with small numbers. Make them practice. Do not spoon feed them but provide help when they need it.
3) Test them at the level they are on till they can solve all the questions at that level within a resonable amount of time, maintaining accuracy.

This carefully structured app was designed keeping the above points in mind.

-In the concepts section, the app animates and demonstrates how to multiply and divide.

-In practice section, it allows them to practice at a certain level. If they need help with the concept, touching "show me" animates and demonstrates the solution (for lower numbers).

-In test mode, the app presents questions for the level they are testing. To clear the level, kids have to answer all the questions within the time fixed by you with 100% accuracy. This may seem a little harsh at first, but emphasis on accuracy will pay off in long run.
The questions at each level are not randomly generated but carefully picked to cover all combinations for that level (and a few from levels below) and then presented in random order.
Once they clear the test at a certain level, they get a star for that level.

Few more notes about the app:
When you add a user, you specify what level you want them to start at and how much time should be allowed to answer a question.
There are 12 levels in the app. level 4 for eg., means being able to multiply and divide by 4 (and numbers below 4).
If you set the time to be 10 secs and if the level you are being tested has 20 questions, you will be given 10x20=200 seconds to finish the test at that level.

The app supports multiple users and maintains individual profiles! You can thus add your entire family with different beginning levels and times.

Mom and Dad, can you multiply and divide any number within 3 seconds? This can be a great math mental exercise for you too.

Build a strong math foundation for your kids.

Enjoy!
