Trail Track is a great companion for runners, hikers and walkers who want to keep track of their outdoor fitness activities. It uses the iPhone's built-in GPS to measure distance, pace, time, and burnt calories while it traces your route in real time on a map. Tap the screen at any time to get live voice audio updates about your current pace, time and covered distance. Trail Track has been developed in collaboration with a licensed personal trainer.
The full version of Trail Track will not only store all your activities for later review, but allows you to race against your past trails. Simply select the past trail you want to compete against, and tap the "race against" button.
If you want to listen to music while exercising, start the iPod before you start Trail Track.
To get the best performance out of Trail Track, we recommend that you are outdoors, with a direct line of sight to the sky. Turn off wifi before starting the application. Unless you are continuously playing music using the iPod program, do not use the sleep/wake button on top of the iPhone to set the device to sleep. Setting the iPhone to sleep will disable the device's GPS.
