Description
What happens when you combine modern technology with one of the world’s all-time favorite games? You have oodles of fun, that’s what! Grab up to four of your friends or family and prepare to play Hide’n’Seek like you’ve never played it before. You are about to enter the tracking zone. Click “…More” to learn why you should download this App today!Well, the five of you pull straws and you get the short one. It’s you who gets to be the game leader, the one who’s going to hide while the other four try to find you. Not having played since you were a kid, you wonder if this is lame. Worse, you’re concerned you’re not very good at it anymore. Still, you start the game and quickly realize that this is not the Hide’n’Seek of your childhood.
With things set in motion, you monitor the location of your friends on your iPhone screen. Are they getting too close? Don’t worry because you can change locations to throw them off your trail and make them really work at trying to find you. You’re having a lot of fun outsmarting them. If you can avoid being found until the timer runs out, you win the game.
Hide’n’Seek is a modern spin of the much loved classic. The iPhone’s GPS allows up to five players to track each other’s positions on a radar screen. Seekers can find out if they’re ‘hot’ or ‘cold’ and zero in on their friend who is crouched in the bushes, standing behind a tree or peeking out from a favorite hiding spot.
The hider can use the radar to determine if the seekers are getting too close. If there’s still time on the clock, he may decide to move to a new hiding place in an attempt to outfox those who are looking for him. Five minutes before the game ends the screen switches into Google Maps mode to provide one more chance to the players who are searching for the hideout.
If you have a 3GS phone, you’re all set for a fully feature-loaded experience with all of the necessary tools for both stealth and capture built right into the Hide’n’Seek application. You have everything you need for a good old modern game of Hide and Seek.
3G users only have to acquire a small compass and they’re set to go, as well! The added benefit for this model is the educational aspect for children. Helping kids learn directions and how to use a compass is much easier when they’re playing a game. They won’t even realize that they’re learning, they’ll just think they’re having fun.
Naturally, all you Hide ‘n’ Seekers have access to the ever reliable Google Maps to help you hone in on the hider’s or seeker’s location area.
Features:

In case you’re wondering about that last feature, it’s the perfect training mode. The Solitaire setting simulates a target for you to find, letting you get a feel for the technology before playing a real game. The app is not difficult to use but you’ll feel more confident after running through it once beforehand.
Although Hide’n’Seek is a great Urban adventure tool for adults, it’s fun for everyone at any age. Kids and parents can spend family time getting fresh air and exercise, while creating memories and strengthening bonds. It even makes a great party or family reunion game.
What are you waiting for? There are lots of good times to be had as soon as you download Hide’n’Seek. Grab a few friends or the kids and go have some fun!
