Aves Vox means the sound of birds in latin. That is exactly what this app is all about.

All of the bird species in the world and of those have 80 % at least one belonging sound.
Aves Vox Pro is a further development of the free edition Aves Vox. The pro-edition contains the same recordings as Aves Vox. The difference between Aves Vox Pro and Aves Vox is that the pro-edition has more functions that facilitate for you as a user.
Functions which make it easier and more fun to use.

Extra functions in Aves Vox Pro:
• Create your own species lists
• Possibility to search directly in your own species lists
• You can mark the recordings as your favourite
• Also choose to show only your favourite sounds
• Filter the recordings by type of sound (call, song etc.)
• Possibility to repeat playback
• Delete recordings from your unit
• You can choose to order your search result alphabetical or taxonomical

Aves Vox Pro contains sounds for over 80 % of the world bird spieces and all sounds are collected from xeno-canto.org.
Each recording is named by the recordist and the id from xeno-canto.org.

There are five sound types: call, song, flight call, alarm call and other calls. The species list is based on IOC World Bird List 2013. Together this creates a great library in your smart phone or other unit with over 30 000 recordings.

The recording will be downloaded and saved to your unit when you play it for the first time. This means that the app is functional even on your journey or elsewhere you don't have any connection to internet. You can, in Aves Vox Pro, choose to delete those recordings you have downloaded.

This give you the opportunity to customize the lists of recordings to set your own needs and interest.
When using Aves Vox Pro you should keep in mind that excessive playback at birds could be stressfull to them and negatively affecting their breeding success. You have the responsibility to use Aves Vox or Aves Vox Pro in responible manner without affecting the diversity of birds or their habits.

Aves Vox Pro includes eleven languages: Danish, Dutch, German, English, Finnish, French, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish, Swedish!
