Rapid Fire offers two dubiously entertaining modes of operation. Competition mode is the perfect antidote for those boring Monday morning meetings. To get the highest score, you simply have to fire every round in the least amount of time. Fire off the rounds fast enough, and you can earn bonus points. If you eject a round without firing, you miss out on points. To earn your place on the high score list, you'll need perfect timing.

In Training mode anything goes. You have infinite ammo, and you never have to worry about chambering a round. The trigger can be fired without worrying about the pump's position or state of the round. Just tap the trigger and daydream about the shooting range.

In both modes, the pump can be moved either by touching the screen or by gently shaking the phone up and down. You don't have to jiggle your phone like a crazy person unless you want too. The trigger almost fires with a feather's touch. Since speed is the game, you don't need to worry about aiming with some twitchy controls.

Your coworkers might worry, but you have more than enough brain power to split between improving your high score and that boring two hour review meeting. Thirty minutes in, and they'll all want to try their hand at beating your high scores.
