The Baker Artist iPhone App is a mobile browser that allows users to keep up to date with all Baltimore area artist nominations posted on its companion website, the 2010 Baker Artist Awards

The Baker Artist iPhone App lets you search the competition field by browsing all multi-disciplinary nominations by image or by artist's name.

· Scroll through hundreds of nominations
· Browse by image or artist's name
· Select a nomination to view each project within each nomination
· Tap the info icon to review more information about the project
· View images, read text, listen to audio, and watch video

About the Awards
The William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund established the Baker Artist Awards to recognize Baltimore’s artists and engage the public in supporting their work. The 2010 Baker Artist Awards consists of two separate prizes, the Mary Sawyers Baker Prize and Baltimore's Choice. All Baltimore area artists over the age of 21 ( working in any creative discipline are invited to register and compete. By utilizing the latest web technology, artist nominees represent themselves through video, audio, image and/or text. The online platform is designed to reach the broadest possible audience and invite their full participation. All visitors over the age of 18 are invited to visit the companion website and create a personal user page and to vote on their favorite artists from their computer.
