What is iRatewatch Elite ?

iRatewatch Elite is an advanced version of iRatewatch. It allows you to take time and rate for up to eight lanes at once. It also includes a lap function (not included in iRatewatch). Coaches also have the option to assign a name to each lane and a name to the workout. All information for each workout is stored and can be uploaded onto a computer.

How do I start timing?

Time can be started for all eight lanes simultaneously (by pushing Start All Timers”) or individually (by pushing “Start” for the desired lane).

How do I take rate?

Rate is taken for each lane, individually, by pressing the "Rate" button at the beginning of a cycle and then at the start of the fourth cycle. This represents three full cycles. The rate for that sequence will appear on the screen.

How do I assign names to lanes?

You can either leave the default Lane Name (0-7), or name the lanes individually by selecting “Assign Lane Names”.

How do I assign a name to the workout?

You can either leave the default Workout Name (default name will be the date and time) or you can enter a name for the workout by selecting “Assign Workout Name”.

How do I retrieve workout information?

At the end of the workout you must click “Finish Workout”. You will then have two options. If you choose “Discard” then you will lose all information and be returned to the main menu. If you choose “Save final values to CSV” you will be able to email the CSV file, with Workout Name and Lane Names, to any email address.

What information is included in the CSV file?

Each lap time is recorded, as well as the average rate for each lane, and included in the exported CSV file. The final times are included as well.

How much information can be stored?

There is no limit to how much data you can record in a single workout and export at the end. Be sure to export your workout at the end if you intend to save it, as it won’t be available after the fact.
