Description

Turn your iPhone or iPod into a musical instrument. It's like having Garageband in your pocket. Your own recording studio, a mini-practice space. If you want to learn to play an instrument, write music, sing along, or record a song, TuneMaker can help — whether you’re a rookie or a rock star.

Tunemaker is a synthesizer, sampleplayer and drum computer in one. You can compose songs, create rhythms, or play live music. It's an easy to use music composition tool that let's anyone create music, even if you've never made music before, because it uses only five notes (instead of the twelve notes of a full piano keyboard). And they always sound good.

Anyone can make the next big hit with Tunemaker. Just by tapping on the screen, you create a drum rhythm, add some bass, strings, guitar or any of the included 16 instruments. TuneMaker is a streamlined digital audio workstation, synthesizer and music sequencer, which can record and play back 16 tracks of virtual instruments, used for creating songs.

The available instruments are:

Rock Drums
Electric Drums
Percussion
Bass Guitar
Electric Guitar
Acoustic Guitar
Contrabass
Violins
Pizzicato Strings
Short Piano Notes
Long Piano Notes
Synthesizer 1
Synthesizer 2
Synthesizer 3
Brass
Effect Sounds

TuneMaker is great for accompaniment when singing or playing a live musical instrument. But also for DJs, to create rhythms at any speed and use them in their sets. There are 40 rhythms and songs pre-installed in the software. Rock drums, hiphop, classical themes, pop and r&b, to name a few.

You can save your songs for later, locally on your phone. TuneMaker can't save your music as an audio or midi-file (this may be added in a future version). However, you can output your final tune using a lead-out cable from the headphone jack to recording equipment.
