Wow I am really surprised. Fairly fast and the pictures are great quality. This is worth way more than a dollar.

Search for a place, then refine your search by panning and zooming on the map. It sometimes takes a little while, but it's fun to see the map fill in with many geotagged photos, even from places that are off the beaten track. Well-thought-out interface. Very entertaining.

Very useful

My favorite app to revisit all the places I had been...thank you.

Using a map for navigation, see photographs from around the world from popular public hosting sites (Flickr and Panoramio). Zoom and scroll with full search capabilities. View Wikitravel information from within the app.

SightSee is not limited to pre-defined locations, go where you want!

A picture really is worth a thousand words so don't rely on a guide book to tell you where to go - see for yourself. A cluster of map pins shows all the 'must-see' sights but you can also find those out-of-the-way gems you just can't find any other way.

SightSee will remember your last location and you can bookmark your favorites.

Enter your current location into the search bar to see what is nearby or press the 'home' button (if you have a GPS-enabled iPad).

Requires network connection (WiFi or 3G)

The photos belong to the photographers who have made them publicly available on the Internet and they retain all rights including the right to remove them from public view at any time.

Although the hosting sites (Panoramio and Flickr) work very hard to ensure public photos are appropriate for public viewing, neither they, nor SightSee are responsible for the content shown.

What's New in Version 1.25

- fixed issue with search
- larger photo viewing area
- adding zoom/pan when viewing photo
- better Japanese translations
