Kids can have fun and master spelling skills with PhotoCross, the game that automatically creates unlimited, unique crossword puzzles, using clear photos as clues. With Version 2, you can now use your own photos, PhotoCross photos, or both.

When you add your own photos, your child can solve puzzles featuring family, best friends, pets, favorite snacks, animals, colors, toys, classmates, cars--the sky’s the limit!

You can select the challenge level you want, from Easy through Medium to Hard, using the Settings button. The shortest words in Easy are just three letters long (think cat, dog, and hat); the hardest words at the Hard level can be up to ten letters long. Are you ready for rhinoceros, llama, and poinsettia?

PhotoCross is simple to use: if the photo’s in a right arrow box, the clue is for Across; if the photo’s in a down arrow box, the clue is for Down. As you type in a clue at the blinking cursor, correct letters appear in green; any incorrect letters appear in black. Once you’ve spelled a clue correctly, just select the first box of any word, and a new clue appears.

To start a new puzzle, press the Refresh button. This program is designed for any kid who likes puzzles, from pre-K through elementary school.

You can add or delete your photos any time you want through iTunes.
