Description

《神農本草經》，簡稱《本經》，是現存最早的中藥學專著，作者不詳，約成書於秦漢時期。書內記載的藥物超過三百種，分上品、中品和下品三品。

《神農本草經》 is a Chinese book on agriculture and medicinal plants. Its origin has been attributed to the mythical Chinese emperor ShenNong. It is a compilation of oral traditions written between about 300 B.C. and 200 A.D. The original text no longer exists and is said to have been composed of three volumes containing representations of over 300 medicinal plants and their description.
