Description

This quintessential game undergoes a make-over in this new version and includes GAME CENTER support for single player mode. The Basic single player mode allows you to try your hand at targeting asteroids, and the Classic mode includes varying levels of flocking ships that attempt to stop your advance. However, multi-player mode is what brings this version of Asteroids to a new level. Play against your friends in multi-player mode over your wireless LAN or bluetooth connection. See if you can out-maneuver, outlast and out-score your competition by blasting the asteroids (and them) into oblivion.

NOTE: We recommend creating a profile and tuning the ship acceleration value for better response during play. The default value of this setting is 30. Also, there are many settings that can be modified for multi-player mode, such as playing a timed game, collision options, minimum and maximum asteroids, etc. We recommend trying various settings for a better gaming experience. For example, try playing using the "fire in ship direction" mode single or multi-player modes. All these settings are available under the Options selection from the main menu.
