Direct Report makes tracking and recording feedback on employees easy.

"If you are responsible for supervising either one person or a yourself a favor and pick Direct Report up."

Use Direct Report whenever you need to instantly keep track of and support your employees. For example, if Joe had a fantastic meeting with a client, make a note of it through Direct Report with as much detail as desired. If a recent e-mail reminds you that Jane needs to work on keeping her written communications professional, make note in Direct Report.

*Track and record feedback for employees in a fun and efficient way.

*Export your feedback off of your iPhone with ease. You can e-mail reports for each employee sorted by date and time, type of feedback (positive, neutral, or constructive), or category.

*Writing annual employee reviews is a cinch! Never forget important events that occurred 11 months prior. It’s all saved in Direct Report.

*Automatically timestamps any feedback entered. Time and date information is crucial when dealing with Human Resources about a troublesome employee. It can also be useful if an employee doesn’t remember the incident that triggered the feedback. Having the exact date and time of an incident can help both you and your employee remember the details.

*Organize your feedback in the way that is most useful to you. Fully customizable categories enable you to create, edit, and organize your feedback.

*Smile! Have a lot of employees? Want to make tracking them a bit more fun? Take a picture of your employee with your iPhone 3GS, or use pictures in your Photo Library on any profile in Direct Report.

Q: Can Direct Report be used to track things besides employees?
A: Yes, as long as it's something where you need to keep track of particular incidents, Direct Report can work for that task.

Q: How can I sync between Direct Report iPhone and Direct Report iPad?
A: Currently this cannot be done since both programs were built specifically for the particular device. We are looking at using iCloud to enable this.

Q: When will you implement feature X?
A: If you would like a new feature in Direct Report, please e-mail me at the support e-mail with your request. We are currently looking to implement iPad camera and iCloud in the next update.

Q: How do I set my password?
A: To set a password, you need to first turn the password option on in the settings menu. This will prompt you to create your password. Be sure to write this down somewhere safe, there is no password recovery built into Direct Report.

Now, close the app down completely by bring up the multi-tasking window (home button twice.) Hold your finger down on the Direct Report icon until you see the red minus and tap that to close the app down completely. The app will now ask for the password whenever you open it back up.

Unfortunately, this feature was designed before the iPad had multi-tasking capability. This means you need to completely close Direct Report down whenever you close it. We will issue a fix in the future that prompts you for a password whenever it resumes from mult-tasking.

What's New in Version 1.09

-Fixed Crash when e-mailing reports on iOS 5.0
-Recompiled and compatible with iOS 5.0 devices.

Thanks for using Direct Report. If you like our app, leave a review in iTunes; it helps a lot! Suggestions for improvements are also greatly appreciated. --Thom Denick
