***The Cat***

This is a story about a Himalayan cat. Himalayans are known to be very friendly and love being with people, both adults and children. They want to sit on your lap, sleep with you, and may even folow you around.

These cats have a lot of personality and can be quite funny. They also like to talk to their people, and really try to communicate.

Himalayans are a cross between a Persian and a Siamese. They have the long hair of a Persian and the dark markings on the face, tail, and feet of a Siamese. Their beautiful blue eyes will capture your heart.


***The Author***

Diane Egge has worked with children for many years as a private piano instructor and before that as a school teacher. Since becoming a grandmother, she has been in spired to write stories for the very young.

Diane is married to her husband of 37 years, Jerry. They have three children and two grandchildren----so far.

She loves animals and has had them all her life. She finds the cute and funny things they do to be quite entertaining. She hopes you can identify with some of these antics in the story.
