Do you have a list of favorite authors and want to branch out? iRecommend is the perfect solution to expand your reading list. Powered by LibraryThing Recommendations, GoogleBooks data, and OCLC WorldCat for local library searches, iRecommend will quickly show you which books you should be reading and where you can buy or borrow them from.

iRecommend allows you to load books by using the integrated Red Laser barcode scanner. Just point it at the ISBN barcode of any book (back of the book, or sometimes inside front cover) and iRecommend will pull up a great list of books for you to enjoy! Don't have an iPhone? That's okay. You can manually enter the ISBN number as well, or search for recommendations based on a title/author search.

You can save any of the results to your favorites list, so you always have a convenient list of new books to look for. You can also:

* Find the book for purchase on Amazon
* Find the book at a local library
* Add the book to iBookshelf
* Add the book to My Library
* Read book synopsis and decide if you like it.
