Description

With the goal of promoting greater safety in performing aesthetic plastic surgery, the application Aesthetic Surgery Checklist provides a quick and easy way for the doctor to watch out for details preoperative that can offer a better decision-making during the clinical practice. The application consists of a "checklist" that takes into account the anesthesia, psychological aspects of patient and clinical risk factors. The color scheme in the answers given by patients indicates levels of attention in terms of risk. The easy viewing of the patient's summary, according to the colors of their responses, identifies the degree of the individual risk.

Besides being a tool of "alert" for preventive measures (such as the prevention of deep vein thrombosis), this application is a useful tool for communication between the surgeon and his team, especially with the Anesthesiologist, providing quick sharing on information of registered patients: general health, medications, diseases, the patient checklist (following the publication of studies in the area). The application provides guidance to other free tools that aid the patient care (such as information about the medication that the patient reports, including drug interaction, among other useful information).

It is noteworthy also that this application offers not only the sharing of information by the physician and his staff, but also enables the analysis and discussion of each case, quickly and efficiently, without the barrier attendance required by a meeting and without the difficulty in finding a feasible schedule for all the discussion of the case, either by video or phone call.
