Description

Conway's classic game of life is a simple zero player game, which simulates life by four simple rules:

1. Any dead cell surrounded by exactly three live cells will become alive.
2. Any live cell surrounded by less than two live cells will die due to isolation.
3. Any live cell surrounded by more than three live cells will die due to overcrowding.
4. Any live cell surrounded by two or three live cells will stay alive.

Conway's game of life has inspired computer scientists and philosophers alike for many years now, especially since its simple rules still allow turing-equivalent computations.
