What kind of a game is Number Place?
In the early 80s, the puzzle author Tetsuo Nisho found a puzzle named ""Number Place"" in an American puzzle magazine. He later published his own refined version of ""Nanpure"" (Number Place) in a Sekaibunka-sha puzzle magazine. That was the beginning of Japan's Number Place history.
In Number Place, each 9 square column and row must contain all of the numbers from 1-9, in addition, each 3x3 box with a thick border must contain all of the numbers from 1-9. The rules are very simple so people of all ages and nationalities enjoy it. "
