Description

Ms. Marin's Math Facts turns your iPad into a powerful and entertaining alternative to traditional multiplication flash cards. It helps sharpen the multiplication skills of the student while providing valuable feedback for the parent or educator. It uses a traditional classroom chalkboard motif along with a simple and intuitive interface. Kids quickly master the simple quiz based design.

The main screen allows the student to enter his or her name along with the desired quiz parameters. The interface allows the user to focus on any or all math factors from 0 to 15. The simple check box interface allows the user to select which factors will be included on the quiz. For example, if the user wants to sharpen their skills on the 8 and 9 factors, then just those can be selected. This also allows younger children to start with the easier facts while gradually working their way up to the more challenging facts.

The main screen also allows the user to select how many facts will be included on the quiz. The check box interface allows for a range of selections from a quick 10 question quiz to a more extensive 100 question quiz. The App will randomly generate multiplication problems within the specified parameters while taking care not to consecutively present the same problem twice.

The App also provides valuable feedback for both the student and the parent or educator. Each quiz ends with a complete summary of all the facts included on the quiz. This summary shows the percent correct along with each incorrect answer highlighted. The App also automatically tracks the results of the previous 25 quizzes. The results include the student name, date, score, and a complete summary of the quiz. This feedback allows the parent or educator to track the progress of each child using the App.

Ms. Marin's Math Facts can build a strong math foundation that will help your child master more complex math concepts in the future.
