Windhoist are leading wind turbine installation contractors, and with sister company McNally Cranes they have the expertise and crane fleet to tackle the most challenging projects around the world.
The Windhoist Craneplanner mobile App shares some of this experience and expertise by enabling Engineers and Project/Contracts Managers to survey their potential site and lift and carry out the initial calculations to help select the right crane and preparation required for the job. Users can also view the full Windhoist/McNally fleet of cranes with full specification and configuration details.
The core function of the App is the 'Survey', which helps the user ascertain the load, accessibility, hazards/risks and also enables the user to take photos of the site and submit them with their site survey. Tools within the App can also be utilised to calculate the Outrigger Load, Crane Mat and Permissable Windspeed Limit for their specific scenario.
Completed surveys can be sent to Windhoist for advice/quotation or alternatively they can be sent to a 3rd party for review.
