Tara In Paputara:

Once upon a time there was a mysterious tree called Tara in a village called Paputara.

Tara was a different kind, it used to grow all kinds of fruits and it was the only source of juice for the villagers. The juice was heavenly pure and kept all the villagers healthy, strong . Moreover Tara's fruit juice was so magical that it used to bring good luck to all the villagers.

But one day the SawMania from an unknown planet took over the village and stopped the villagers from getting close to the tree. SawMania was on the hunt for the tree for a long time. The greedy SawMania took over and now Paputara lost its glory :(

For now your mission is to supply the magical fruits to the villagers. Once the villagers have enough fruits, you will be briefed for next mission.

Mission instructions:
1. Tap on the fruit to select it

2. Tilt iphone/ipad to control the movement of the fruits

3. Fruit must avoid all the saws.

4. Safely take at least four(4) fruits to the juicer.

Intro:

In the sea of all kinds of applications available for smartphones, it can be quite tricky to find an original and entertaining one, nowadays. Saw Mania might be just the application you are looking for. According to the sky rocketing popularity at iTunes and consistently positive reviews achieved by the gamers’ society, Saw Mania application is on the right move to go viral.

Game story and playtime:

Saw Mania is one of those fictive apps taking us far away from everyday reality in terms of the game story running behind the playtime. Developers pulled it one step further than standard apps to create a unique game story you normally don’t find along each app you purchase at iTunes.

The story is placed in a fictive village of Paputara. This picturesque fictive place is a homeland to magical tree named Tara. You can consider this plant the ‘reason’ you are playing the game as this fruit-tree grows magical fruits which is source of health, happiness and good luck to all the villagers. Once the villagers can’t get to their beloved fruits due to infestation of SawMania, you kick in to ‘smuggle’ some fruits pass the saws to the juicer.

Now this is the part where it gets more interesting. Once you launch the application, you will be introduced to handy and clean user interface. No matter if you have been launching the app before or not, you will find it easy to navigate around. Game play is just as easy itself. For difference of most of the apps where you have to tap, stir and stroke the screen – Saw Mania is pretty much based on tilting and leaning your device.

The fruits are located on the left-hand side of the screen and your goal, the juicer, is on the opposite side, with fixed and moving saws in-between. The further you progress throughout the game, the harder it gets as the number of saws, and the way they harden your progress, increases. Consider it the real game of skill and strategy as it takes considerable planning, skill and experience to get pass certain levels.

As for the graphics and sounds, they are mediocre, being in place for this type of app. Don’t expect anything outstanding and ground-breaking when it comes to these features.

Technical bit
The application was released on 20th December, 2012, by Sharmila and Sumon Barua. Gaining considerable success within respectably short time period, this application has good chances to go viral. Application is available on iPhone and iPad supporting iOS 4.3 and later. If you are using iPhone 5 – great, as the application has been optimized for this device too. Entertaining, exciting and absolutely affordable at 0.99$ at iTunes, we highly recommend to try out this app as you are waiting on the airport, chilling in a hotel lobby or waiting for the bus at the station.
