Description

WinPilot for iPad is an application to aid glider pilots in making strategic decisions related to preparation of a flight, its execution, and after the flight analysis.

This particular version includes aviation related data and will work only in the Eastern USA in the following USA states: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.

It can be run in the GPS mode with gps location supplied by the iPad, or in the Simulator mode with location generated by the simulator.
Required hardware is an iPad with a built-in GPS receiver - typically iPad 3G (not iPad WiFi only).
