Description

Nicole and Tommy - Vocabulary for Children is an innovative and carefully designed program that teaches basic vocabulary to children.

The two main characters, children named Nicole and Tommy, set out on a journey around the world and take pictures on their way. The vocabulary the children are to learn is illustrated with pictures ‘taken’ by Nicole and Tommy. This makes the program authentic for users and working with it – great fun.



The program:

- is designed for aged 4 to 7
- includes 100 words with illustrations grouped into 10 thematic categories (e.g. toys, family, colours etc), activities, as well as extra learning tools
- extra learning tools offers 5 instruction languages: English, German, Spanish, French and Mandarin

Learning advantages:

- the methodology refers to the natural perception abilities of children at the target age
- each word is presented in a specific context (sound and visual)
- vocabulary that is more basic and ‘relevant’ to the child is introduced first
- the program can be used individually as well as a supplement to teaching at school or in kindergarten
