Description

The 2-Tone Trail is the very first 2-Tone themed application developed for the iPhone platform. Based on the Coventry City, UK, tourist attraction of the same name it brings to life the history of the multi-racial ska bands The Specials, The Selecter, and the rise of this iconic record label that also gave us Madness and The Beat.

The 2-Tone Trail began life as a guide book, until in 2009 when 2-Tone celebrated its 30th Anniversary and eleven plaques commemorating various venues and sites in the history of the genre were added to the trail. This application will guide you to the sites of those eleven plaques, pin-point positions on the tour, and bringing each site to life with photographs and information on each one.
