Our solution to this problem is to implement the task board expiration length as a way to help you be more realistic with your time. After the time has elapsed, all remaining tasks will be cleared, presenting you with a clean slate to start over again. The idea is that you will only place to-dos on your board that you feel confident will get completed prior to your sprint iteration ending. This forces you to only put tasks on your board that you feel you can accomplish, which in turn reinforces good behavior and raises your own personal confidence and attitude when you complete all your tasks by hitting realistic goals.
