Chinese cuisine is full of wisdom, built on vast knowledge of various food and ingredients. Wise arrangement of food not only satisfies the desire for taste, but also promotes healthy living.
Traditional Chinese food emphasizes color, fragrance and taste, but often ignores nutritious arrangement between different ingredients. The cooking process leads to a series of complex chemical reactions, which can improve the absorption of certain nutrients but diminish the others.
Eating compatible food, will be able to promote absorption of certain nutrition element, or prohibit certain side effect of the food; Eating incompatible food, will lower the nutrition value for the food, and in some rare case has some serious side effects.
