Diet schemes based on evaluating the nutritional content of food have been a tremendous success in recent years. In conjunction with meetings and other supporting activities and materials, the scoring systems provide a robust and easily handled way for people to regulate their own diet.

Recent research has shown that traditional calorie based schemes are probably not sophisticated enough. This has lead to the development of many new diet schemes with a similar underlying philosophy. Based on nutritional content, individual foods are assigned a score. The dieter is allowed a total score consumption within a defined period. FoodScorer calculates these scores for any diet, given the appropriate scheme of calculation.

The built in scheme is constructed specifically for, to aid people received appropriate clinical advice related to this approach to weight loss and healthy living. If you're not following a healthy living regimen following this system, you probably don't want this app.

◦ FoodScorer can download updates to diet schemes as they become available.
◦ There is also error reporting built right in - if you discover an error in FoodScorer's calculations then flag it up for a rapid fix.
◦ Graphics for retina display
