Senses6 is an iPhone-centric monitoring and remote management app for Windows-based hosts. Using an agent installed on each Windows host, Senses6 is able to alert iPhone users to performance issues and can assist in the remote resolution of those issues.

Senses6 provides audit information (e.g. operating system, physical memory, interfaces, etc) for each host running the Senses6 System Agent, as well as performance and capacity data. In addition, the Senses6 System Agent can accept requests from the iPhone, enabling remote shutdown of processes, service configuration changes, as well as host restarts and shutdowns.

In environments running at least two Senses6 System Agents, availability monitoring is also provided through ping tests conducted by each agent against its peers.

The Senses6 System Agent is completely free and can be installed on any number of hosts within your environment. Multiple copies of the Senses6 iPhone app can be purchased and utilized by your entire team to view the hosts that you are monitoring.

Through Push Notification (and optional email notification) all team members are alerted to problems when they occur, through configurable thresholds and watches.

Best of all, Senses6 does not require any firewall changes or special networking configuration to function.
