Game Night is the best companion for family or group game night fun. It has two game play modes and literally over 2200+ words in its database for hours and hours of gaming fun. There are even extra "adult" word category add ons to spice it up a bit for the mature audiences.

Here are the two types of gaming modes:

TIMED MODE – This game mode has a set amount of time to get their team to guess as many words as possible by giving only clues and hints to help them guess the correct word, all before the time runs out. Once the time is up, the team adds up their score according to how many words were correctly guessed and then passes it to the opponent team for their try at a turn.

PASS MODE – This game mode has a set amount of time to get your team to guess one of the words on the screen by giving only clues and hints to help them guess the correct word, all before the time runs out. Once the team guesses the word correctly, they pass it as quickly as possible to the opponent team for their try at guessing another word. The team left holding the device when the time runs out and the buzzer sounds is the loser of that rounds point. So it is a kind of hot potato guessing game, which you can only pass when your team has successfully guessed the word.
