Bogeymen is a silly, but addictive, game with which to while away some time whilst having a laugh.

Before anyone decides to object to this game on the basis of racism you might like to consider this:

Racism is probably the one ism that we missed out on.
Some of the isms we were trying to ridicule and encourage avoidance of are fascism, terrorism and nepotism as well as genocide, the use of assassination as a means to power and wholesale corruption for personal profit to the detriment of people supposedly being lead.

When we selected the leaders for version 1 we tried to be even-handed across the world to show that there are people like this nearly everywhere – Africa (Mugabe), South America (Pinochet), Europe (Hitler), S.E. Asia (Suharto), Middle East (Saddam) and everywhere (Osama). If we knew more about Chinese or Japanese history we may have been able to include someone from there.

We feel that people like these should never be admired or emulated. They should be opposed and ridiculed so that they never get a grip on power and exercise sadistic control over decent people.

Fun Digital usually creates funny educational games but Bogeymen is really just a very silly game. However, with some imagination it could be used as a pointer to talk about some of the things these people have done, why other people should never be allowed to do them again and what might be done to stop them.


Some of the proceeds from the sale of this game will be donated to World Vision to help assist the victims of Snots like these. This is not a fundraiser for World Vision but our personal wish to help innocent and helpless victims.
