Seiche presents the exciting RADES app for Real-time Automated Distances Estimation at Sea.

This app provides accurate range estimation to a variety of targets on the sea surface. In addition, it allows you to capture stunning photos with your device’s inbuilt camera. Images are also automatically tagged with useful information for future reference. RADES is a great app to have whether you're going whale watching, swimming with dolphins or on a boat cruise, etc. Unlike laser range finders that require signals to be reflected off a target and theodolites that are complicated to set up, RADES is very easy to operate and designed for enthusiasts, hobbyists and scientists of all ages.

How to use
RADES has been designed with a minimal user setting requirement in order to simplify operation. You will only need to set your height above sea level and then you're good to go. Just point at the target and the rest is done for you.

Photo library incorporated
The well-organised photo library allows you to review images you have captured and automatically stores the following information with your
pictures:
1. Data and time picture was taken
2. Distance to target
3. GPS location of target
