Alphabet Paint and Learn is an iPhone and iPad painting / coloring book application for young children, with an educational twist allowing them to learn the letters of the alphabet in a fun way from an early age.

Observation of young children with the typical iPhone or iPad coloring application reveals that many of them have not yet got the hand coordination necessary to be able to color in to lines properly, leading to frustration and a short attention span. This application is specifically designed for those younger pre-school children who easily get bored or have not yet learnt to color in images effectively.

The application works by starting with an outline of the image, and as the child swipes their finger over the screen the pre-colored in image appears, making it seem to them as though they are doing the coloring!

The App has been designed and tested on children from as young as two years old, and has a simple interface and large buttons so younger children can use the App without getting frustrated easily.
