Description

iRecognize LITE allows you to see and play the types of exercises the iRecognize app can create. The LITE version is fully playable and provides 4 different exercises that focus on listening, reading, and speaking.

The full iRecognize app is designed to give persons with language impairments, such as aphasia, autism, TBI, etc., a tool to practice comprehending words, pictures, and text. Therapists can individualize sessions to each client by importing photographs of the patient's people, places, and things. clinical exercises may be customized by controlling the stimuli, the number of choices in each array, and the type of feedback given to the client. Each exercise is recorded so the therapist can retrieve results in either item-by-item lists or graphs. A report of each practice session is generated. The therapist can email the report and print them out. Each exercise is saved and given a custom label.

Exercises can be created to help persons who have problems with listening, reading, talking, or memory. Exercises can use the included LARK (copyright ProEd, Inc., Austin, TX) items which depict common objects and actions, or be created with photographs taken with your iPad or imported from your photo gallery. Each item can be assigned a custom text and spoken label.

There are countless possibilities for using iRecognize to create customized exercises for comprehension and recall.

Refer to the user guide found on the support website or download the Lite version for a free trial of the app. The app requires IOS 6.1 or later.
