Description

PlayToLearn.com, the original PlayToLearn, has developed K-5 learning tools for elementary school aged children for over 18 years as web applications. We are now exclusively providing these tools on mobile devices.

PlayToLearn - K-5 Skills, teaches children how to add, subtract, multiply, divide, tell time and count money. Our learning tools are presented in a similar manner as to how students learn through flash cards.

For each game, the skill level is easily changed with a slider, and the manner in which the numeric answer is entered is flexible as well, for the math fact games. In the multiplication and division game, there is an additional Table feature, that allows the student to simulate times tables or division tables. The tell time game skill level can be changed from 1-hour increments to 1 minute increments. Additionally, the tell time game can be switched from a 12-hour format to a 12-hour am/pm format. The sky color changes with time as does the position of the sun to aid the student to determine the difference between am and pm times. The count money game skill level can also be changed easily with the slider. The values of coins can be changed from pennies to quarters on the first two rows, and then from half dollar to dollar coins on the 3rd row. The upper rows appear in the most advanced levels, adding additional rows of dollar coins and bills ranging from one-dollar bills to fifty-dollar bills.

Each game keeps a tally of the right and wrong entries, and a simple help window for each game.

In addition to our present tools, we are developing many new tools to help children learn the basics in early education.
