SLC: Anatomy and Physiology
- App Store Info
DescriptionThis App introduces high school students to the enzymes and structures encountered when learning about anatomy and physiology. This introduction to biology has been created for the SLC class taught by Ms. J. Lee. If your students are not enrolled in the class they are unlikely to get full value from the App.
SLC: Anatomy & Physiology challenges students through multi-touch exploration on their iPads. Students can easily email an image of their work to you or a parent directly from the App. In this 1.0 Release, your students will explore the sensory roles of the eye and ear, and study the skeletal, digestive and circulatory systems. They will be challenged to practice and learn vocabulary while they see their key course terms appear in current articles about chemical and mechanical digestion, organ function, circulatory flow, anatomical structures, and physiology. Once students complete a word pack, they reflect on “What concepts did I learn relating to anatomy and physiology?” and solve a Common Core influenced “challenge” such as “How does this system help maintain stable internal conditions?”
