Description

LightenUpHK is compatible with iPhone's Health* app and helps you manage your eating habits through calorie counting and data sharing via Apple's HealthKit*.

LightenUpHK accepts inputs from Health app including Heart Rate, Steps, Age, Height, and Weight data points. LightenUpHK writes outputs to Health app including Body Mass Index(BMI), Resting calories(BMR), Active (burn) calories, Dietary calories, Carbohydrates, Protein, Total Fat, and Fiber data points.

LightenUpHK makes it easy for you to make an informed decision about food before you eat it. In addition if you are trying to loose weight, LightenUpHK helps forecast how long it will take to reach your weight goal based on individual weight status, calories burned, and calorie consumed.

LightenUpHK is designed to be self-teaching. As you try each view read the messages under each “info” button to learn usages. Pop-up alert messages are provided to guide you through each step. Typical usage steps:

1) In the SetUp View configure start and target weights, personal stats, calorie loss rate, gender, units, USA/nonUSA health data input, and walk rate.
2) In the Home View, determine your calorie intake with BMR.
3) See how you compare to weight standards with the BMI.
4) In Workout, manage your steps, heart rate and timed workout.
5) In Consume View, define your foods in "My List" with predefined "Pick Foods", "Suggestions", or entering a New Food of your own interest. In addition, input of a food type creates a search of the USDA National Nutrient Database** resulting in a list of returned foods. When food is selected from the returned list, its nutrient values are extracted to be used in app's custom food list building capability.
6) Manage Daily Calories Consumed with "Calories" button.
7) In the Home View, see progress by checking your “Forecast".
8) If you track points try “Points
