Description

DES stands for Data Encryption Standard. It's a 56-bit symmetric encryption/decryption algorithm. DES's key, data, and result are all 8 bytes long. They are all 8-byte binary data blocks (8 bytes = 16 hex digits). This PlayDES app will give us a chance to play and learn DES encryption/decryption easily and directly.
