Description

Nine Gates Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation and chance.
The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols.

Nine Gates Mahjong is based on the Hong kong version as played by the British.
Four players take turns picking up a tile and discarding a tile until a player calls Mahjong.
the scores are calculated and total scores are adjusted as a result.

Play one, four or 16 hand rounds and try and score more points than your opponents.

if no one calls Mahjong then there is the option of replaying the hand as a goulash.
The two of bamboo is replaced with a wild tile and each player swaps three tiles with each
other player at the beginning of the hand.
