Hailing from the grimy streets of West Dallas, Laydee Savage delivers a refreshing voice to the hip hop world. Her slick word play, electric persona coupled with her captivating stage performance will definitely get any crowd to rocking. Rapping since middle school Laydee Savage has made a name for herself entertaining crowds well before she was legally able to get in venues. Inspired by the late Tupac, Laydee Savage began writing her own music. At first she freestyles for fun but began to take her craft serious after childhood friend JaMichael insisted she had what it takes to make it. Realizing later on that her peers really related to her through her music, she began to transition herself and ultimately wrote about those things that were happening around her.

Laydee Savage lined up with WMRM Inc a local record label and began her climb to stardom. Using the music as a vehicle she began to speak on the issues that affected the everyday person. She took on the challenge of speaking on issues such as Domestic Violence, Black on Black Violence and other issues she believed negatively impacted her community no one had the courage to speak on. Her latest work "Cry" is an intuitive look at the daily happenings in her neighborhood and a call for peace as she so eloquently ask her fans to cry to release the pain of loosing a love one. The single, "who Said" featuring D. Woods formally of Danity Kane which is sure to be an eye opener for music insiders.

Ranking in over 150,000 views on youtube rapping over popular songs, Laydee Savage became known as the Best Female Rapper alive with comparisons to Lil Wayne, Lil Boosie and the Brat to name a few.

Laydee Savage spends her time re-purposing herself and her music to be a voice for the younger generation. Unlike her peers, venturing to add music to her repertoire that's inspiring and motivational to her fans.

"Anybody and everybody is rapping about the usual stuff but it takes talent to add the motivational and inspiring songs to your collection. Life is complex so music can't be simple and only about money, cars, and clothes I want to rap about things that make us open our eyes and be like hmmmm, " Laydee Savage "Most female artist doesn'tt get the same recognition as our male counterparts. The industry says a female has to look a certain way or sell sex appeal and tha't something I am going to change and also that's something that in a strange way inspired me to go harder and be the first one to do so," said Laydee Savage.
