From the fisherman’s barque lost among the great folds of the ocean to the triumphant battleship splitting the waves, this app collects the most beautiful vessels which for millenniums have been filling the museums and roaming around the world for conquest, for survival or lazy Sunday afternoons. Each chapter opens on a short text dealing with the artists’ fascination for those monuments built to get lost in the unknown and their admiration for the seamen going all sails set, far from men, where anything can happen.

Each piece of art is presented along with its caption and, for most of them, with a contextualizing hyperlink.
