Descriptionudo is a modern martial art, combat and Olympic sport created in Japan. Judo’s objective is to either throw or takedown an opponent to the ground, immobilize or otherwise subdue an opponent with a pin, or force an opponent to submit with a joint lock or a choke.
This program was created and demonstrated by an advanced Judo athlete, who has mastered all of the Judo techniques and participates in elite world tournaments. In this program you will be introduced to offensive and defensive Judo techniques that include:
Hand Throwing Techinques (Te-waza)
Hip Throwing Techniques (Koshi-waza)
Sacrifice Techniques (Sutemi-Waza)
Side Sacrifice Techniques (Yoko-Sutemi)
