MuseumFinder helps you discover and explore more than 33,000 museums in the United States. Discover new museums and sites in your backyard or anywhere in the country. MuseumFinder uses the most comprehensive database available on museums, historic sites, zoos, aquariums, and more.

Use MuseumFinder’s easy interface to view museums by type, get address information, and directions. You can quickly see what’s around you, search for any museum, enter any address anywhere in the US, or view a list of museums nearby.

MuseumFinder is part of a research project led by Drexel University professor Neville K. Vakharia and the Institute for Museum and Library Services. App development by Drexel University’s AppLab.
