Description

Angles become more than just a math lesson as a bored student takes an adventure to a land where Angles come alive. Maverick meets a family of Angles and learns how their size is comparable to humans' age. The Angles teach him how they grow by degrees, instead of age. He has fun while learning how important a role Angles play in all aspects of his life.

Good book for my classroom math library.

My mom is a teacher and plans to read it to her 2nd grade class!

I also picked this book up at the book signing, where my copy was personalized to my daughter. Such a creative and practical way to present math. My mom is a teacher and after she read it, she wanted a copy for herself to read to her 2nd grade class. Great teaching instrument!

I read this book to my third grade students and they were mesmerized with the theme of the story. They also purchased their very own copies of the book. It's amazing how many story elements students can discuss via a story written about someone just like them. It's a well-written piece with many aspects which are student connected.

My kids love it!

I have four kids under age five and though I thought it would be above their reading interest, all four sat and listened to the story. My four year old has been asking about "angles" ever since and is in his bedroom looking at the engaging pictures as I write this. Fun way to learn about angles

Such a creative and fun way to teach Math to kids. My son especially loves the ending where the stars take Maverick home to his parents. Great book!
