Description

This is an app for children at UK schools whose first language is not English. This version can be used on one account. For multiple-use and access to our tracking platform, see our School’s Edition.

Children with limited literacy can develop their Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills (BICS) by navigating the app using a combination of illustrations and text to find the audio content they need.

The app includes the everyday vocabulary that a child needs in the course of their school day such as:

The audio can be slowed down to allow the child to listen carefully and repeat. Repeatedly hearing sounds and pronunciations enables the child’s brain to adapt to sound patterns.
