Do you want to hear a specific song when you cross the finish line of your first marathon? Or want to just end your regular run with a nice, soft cool-down track? Then this is the app for you!

LocSpot is a simple app where you set a point on a map and attach a Spotify track to it. When you enter the point's vicinity, the track is automatically played.

You must have Spotify open in the background for the app to work properly, and the Spotify app must be in normal online mode with a reliable Internet connection. If you are listening to other audio sources, e.g. podcasts, etc., the LocSpot track will be mixed with the current background audio. You don't have to listen to Spotify in the background, silence is good too!

The app does not affect use of your tracker apps—they will work and tell you your pace as normal.

You need a Spotify Premium account to use this app.

This is the initial release, and we will be adding more features soon—that's for sure! Many new features are already under development. Continued use of GPS in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. However, you can stop LocSpot from using GPS simply by deactivating it in the app.
