Q. Do I need experience to become a professor on Amigo?
No, previous teaching experience is not required. However students will see your reviews before deciding having a lesson with you. So we encourage you to prepare each lesson before hand.

Q. Why do I have to share my visa status or identification with Amigo?
We check your identification for security reasons and reliability. Please take a picture of the front and back of your identification in Japan. All we need to check is your name, profile photo, birthdate, address and residence status. So you can blur the other parts if you don't want to show them.

Q. How do I get my remuneration and how much will Amigo ask as a fee?
We ask you to use PayPal or to register a Japanese bank account through Payoneer service in order to make sure we can deposit your remuneration. Once you teach a lesson with Amigo, you will get paid from the student through the Amigo App as Amigo points at a ratio of 1 point = 1JPY. When you need to transfer money from Amigo, please send us a transfer request from the Amigo Points menu in the app. We will ask you to transfer quantities larger than 10000 points and we will not ask you a fee for the transaction.
