Description

A simple and effective Spaced repetition app.

The app helps you to remember up to 100% of the important things you read - without any effort!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The app uses a scientifically supported spaced repetition algorithm to make sure you remember what you read. After adding a text (e.g., a quote or fact) you wish to remember, the app will then remind you about it according to a specific interval. It will keep reminding you until you have programmed the text into your long term memory.

HOW MUCH OF WHAT YOU READ DO YOU ACTUALLY REMEMBER?
According to science, you will only remember 20% of what you read after 30 days. This means that you will forget 80% of the personal development books you read. That is a lot of valuable information, time and money wasted!

AN APP THAT HELPS YOU REMEMBER EVERYTHING YOU READ
The key to remembering is reviewing in intervals. The painful way to do this is to go back to your old books and review them all, one by one, month after month.
Seriously though, who has time for that?

Since we're personal development enthusiasts and techies ourselves, we asked: how can we develop something that maximizes memory with minimum effort? After researching the scientific literature for effective review strategies, we created Spaced - a simple app that helps you remember 100% of the important things you read - without any effort.

WHAT IS SPACED REPETITION?
Spaced repetition is a scientifically proven learning technique that seeks to solve the problem of forgetting. It works by reminding you of important information at the moment you are about to forget it.

The theory of Spaced Repetition suggests an optimal repetition schedule for maximizing learning and memory. According to memory expert and author Piotr Woźniak, the perfect schedule is defined by two insights:

1. Intervals should be as long as possible to obtain the minimum frequency of repetitions, and to make the best use of the so-called spacing effect, which says that longer inter-repetition intervals, up to a certain limit, produce stronger memories
2. Intervals should be short enough to ensure that the knowledge is still remembered

By spacing out your learnings according to a specific repetition schedule, you will be able to learn faster and remember it longer. That is why spaced repetition has been referred to as “one of the most powerful methods for remembering what you learn” (Carrey – How we learn).

Perhaps one of the best and easiest-to-use apps on the market is the Spaced Repetition app for iOS. With the app, you can add any learning you want to remember, and the app then takes care of the rest. The app will automatically remind you according to a perfect Spaced repetition schedule. All you have to do is activating push notifications, and you’re all set. It has never been easier to hack your brain!

--- Subscription or one-time payment ---
Some features of the app require the purchase of Premium, which is available as a subscription or as a one-time payment.
The cost of premium is displayed in the app.
You have the opportunity to download and test the app before you decide whether premium is right for you. The subscription length is displayed in the app and gives you unlimited access to the entire app. You can quit whenever you want. You can also choose to buy the app directly with a one-time payment.
If you choose to subscribe to Premium, the purchase will go to your iTunes account. The subscription will be automatically renewed unless it is canceled no later than 24 hours before it expires.
